MOF Opens Haj Omran Custom Complex (2009-01-19)
On December 23, 2008, his Excellency Minister of Finance Bayiz Talabany, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Rashid Tahir and a number of government officials and dignitaries opened the third stage of the projects at Haj Omran Custom Complex located north east of the city of Arbil. Building the touristic village of Kareze at Mawat sub-district (2008-11-20)
On September 28, 2008, Hardam Co. started the construction process of the Kareze's touristic village that is located about 2Km south of Mawat sub-district. This project's first phase consists of building 70 touristic houses that would offer a very comfortable and specious two bedroom houses in the midst of the high mountains surrounding the Mawat sub-district. The cost of the first phase of this project is estimated to be $1,421,000.
